Facial Scrubs and Masks:
Exfoliating Scrubs: These scrubs contain physical exfoliants like sugar, salt, nutshells, or coffee grounds to remove dead skin cells and promote smoother texture. They come in various formulations for different skin types (oily, dry, sensitive).
Chemical Exfoliants: These masks or treatments use AHAs (alpha hydroxy acids) or BHAs (beta hydroxy acids) to gently dissolve dead skin cells and unclog pores. Popular options include glycolic acid, lactic acid, and salicylic acid.
Facial Masks:
Hydrating Masks: These masks aim to replenish moisture and leave the skin feeling plump and dewy. Ingredients like hyaluronic acid, glycerin, and aloe vera are common.
Clay Masks: These masks absorb excess oil and impurities, making them ideal for oily and acne-prone skin. Kaolin clay and bentonite clay are popular types.
Charcoal Masks: These masks, often black in color, aim to deep clean pores and remove toxins. They are suitable for oily and congested skin.
Sheet Masks: These pre-cut masks made from fabric or biocellulose are soaked in essence or serum to deliver concentrated ingredients to the skin. They come in various formulas for different concerns.
Peel-Off Masks: These masks typically dry on the face and form a peelable film, removing dead skin cells and impurities along with it. They can be helpful for clogged pores and blackheads.
Sleeping Masks: These overnight masks provide deep hydration and nourishment while you sleep. They're often thicker and creamier than daytime masks.
Brightening Masks: These masks aim to reduce hyperpigmentation, even skin tone, and improve radiance. Ingredients like vitamin C, kojic acid, and licorice root are commonly used.
Calming Masks: These masks soothe irritated skin and reduce redness. Ingredients like oatmeal, calendula, and centella asiatica (CICA) are known for their calming properties.
Body Scrubs:
Sugar Scrubs: These scrubs use sugar crystals to exfoliate dead skin cells from the body, leaving it feeling smoother and softer. They often come in various scents and may include moisturizing oils.
Salt Scrubs: Sea salt or Epsom salt scrubs can be invigorating and help improve circulation. They may also be beneficial for muscle aches and pains.
Coffee Scrubs: Coffee grounds act as an exfoliant and may help reduce the appearance of cellulite. They can also leave a stimulating effect on the skin.
Additional Options:
Lip Scrubs: These gentle scrubs remove dry, flaky skin from the lips, leaving them smooth and prepped for lip balm or lipstick.
Scalp Scrubs: These scrubs help remove product buildup, dead skin cells, and dandruff from the scalp. They may also stimulate blood flow and promote healthy hair growth.
This isn't an exhaustive list, but it gives you a broad idea of the variety of cosmetic scrubs and masks available today. Remember to choose products formulated for your specific skin or body concerns.
The design process
Contact us to set up a meeting to discuss the details of your project, so that we can help you to uncover what your dream home looks like. As a first step, we'll thoroughly research the best style to suit your space, budget, and unique needs. Next, we'll develop a mood board that will help you to better visualize our ideas. Once we receive your approval on our vision, we'll move onto creating a series of design proposals. In the final step, your favorite proposal will then be flawlessly rendered in our programs to give you a virtual, but very realistic image of your newly-designed home.
